Advanced Liver Imaging

Silent liver disease is becoming one of the most common health challenges worldwide.

Detecting fatty liver (MAFLD) and identifying early fibrosis can prevent progression to cirrhosis and complications.

Our centre offers cutting‑edge, non‑invasive imaging to keep your liver health in check.

Certain groups are at higher risk of developing fatty liver and fibrosis. Early screening can make a big difference:

  • People with obesity or overweight
  • Those with type 2 diabetes or insulin resistance
  • Individuals with high cholesterol or triglycerides
  • Patients with hypertension or metabolic syndrome
  • People with a history of excess alcohol intake
  • Those with chronic hepatitis B or C
  • Individuals with a family history of liver disease
  • Anyone with unexplained abnormal liver function tests
  • Detects disease before symptoms appear
  • Guides lifestyle changes and medical treatment
  • Prevents progression to cirrhosis and complications
  • Provides peace of mind with same‑day reporting

Tests for Liver Health

1. LIVER Fat Quantification

Provides an objective numerical measure of liver fat, unlike conventional ultrasound grades which were subjective and operator‑dependent. A value is assigned to the liver fat depending of how much % of liver involved and monitored in subsequent scans. This is accurate and comparable.

Fat Quantification

  • What it does: Measures the amount of fat in the liver using advanced ultrasound technology.
  • Why it’s important: Helps rule out or confirm Metabolic Associated Fatty Liver Disease (MAFLD).
  • Preparation: No special preparation required.
  • Duration: Quick, painless, radiation‑free.
  • Report: Available the same day.

2. LIVER Elastography (FibroScan)

  • What it does: Assesses liver stiffness to detect fibrosis (scarring) at an early stage.
  • Why it’s important: Fibrosis is the key prognostic marker in liver disease; early detection guides treatment.
  • Preparation:
    • Fasting for 4-6 hours before the test ( Preferably overnight , very less water).
    • Avoid heavy exercise and alcohol prior to the scan.
  • Duration: Simple, non‑invasive, takes only a few minutes.
  • Report: Same‑day results with clear guidance for next steps.

Echocardiography uses harmless sound waves, called ultrasound. The sound waves pose no known risk to the body.

  • Doctor’s prescription is mandatory for Fetal Echocardiography ONLY.
  • For adult Echocardiography test prescription is not mandatory,
  • However , please carry the clinical notes of your treating doctor for better test performance.
  • Majority of the reports are issued the same day / next day
