AARTI Diagnostic Centre was set up in 2002 by Dr (Mrs) Kakoly Borthakur and was started as an Ultrasound Centre. It was then known as AARTI Sonography Centre. It has since expanded to cover a wide range of Diagnostic Imaging facilities such as 3D & 4D Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, OPG, Cone Beam CT (CBCT) & Digital Mammography.
Location : The Centre is conveniently located near the Vashi Police Station at Sector 2, Vashi with many nearby landmarks such as Rationing Office, Maharashtra Bank, Punjab National Bank etc.
It is easily accessible by public transport or own vehicle.

In order to meet the one stop requirement of the patients for all diagnostic investigations, a pathology collection centre is maintained at the Centre and tie-ups have been made with reputed pathology labs such as Lilac Insights , Igenetics , Patkar lab and Dr Bhonsle’s lab for furhter testing and reporting and improved patient convenience at no extra cost.

Dr. Kakoly Borthakur is a qualified Radiologist and Fetal Medicine Specialist and has completed her post graduation from the prestigious TATA Memorial Centre (TMC), advanced Cancer Research Institute, which is one of the leading health care education and service provider in the Country. She has over 25 years of experience in Ultrasound Imaging.
She has completed her Diploma from the Fetal Medicine, Barcelona (University of Spain). She specializes in fetal procedures Amniocentesis, Chorion villous Biopsy & Fetal transfusions. She also specializes in in FNAC and Biopsy with her vast experience in Tata Memorial Hospital.
Dr Kakoly is one of the very few Musculoskeletal ultrasound specialists in the city of Mumbai and has a “Diploma in MSK Ultrasound “ from the University of Spain.
Her area of interest is Women’s Imaging (Obstetrics, Genecology and Breast), Fetal Medicine and Musculoskeletal ultrasound.
She is currently a National Faculty in various conferences as a speaker and is a faculty for CCFRG and BCFRG training courses of Indian Radiology Association (IRIA).
She is also a trained classical and Ghazal singer and has performed in various prestigious concerts and TV shows. She also has a Ghazal Album to her credit.
